Team Lithuania Again Invited to Compete in World Student Championships
July 30-August 7th, 2010, is the set date for the 2010 5th Annual World Student Baseball Championships. The tournament will be organized by the Federation Internationale de Sport Universitaire (FISU), which is the international governing body for university sports. Lithuania was chosen among 12 Nations throughout the world to be invited to this elite competition. In 2008 Lithuania finished 7th in the 4th World Student Championships, which were held in Prague, Czech Republic. This is a great opportunity for Lithuanian Baseball to yet again show its strengths on the international stage.
